I will always max out the GhZ first, then upgrade the video card then look at upping RAM. The iMac is fantastic and saves a lot of space depending what screen size you choose.
I do not need a $5,000 Apple tower with separate monitor as I found out after switching from a PC where the only option was separate tower and monitor. SO far as price goes for a average of $2,000, and more like $1,500 you can get a iMac no problem same cost as a PC/Windows today. Is Dell still considered a go to for Windows users today? When I left to switch I was using a Dell. Since I do not follow Windows based computers what is the current "good brand" of Windows computer. For photography and video as a interest Mac's just seem to work better at these tasks.

I have no direct need to shoot wirelessly, but I know Mac's are generally more friendly for photography and videography needs.
